Creating MTG islandwalk deck need help?

Try building a merfolk deck. You can usually get pass your opponent's creatures and hit them with pumped up coralhelm commanders. Merfolk sovereign and lullmage mentors work extremely well with rite of replication and an arsenal of counterspells. The mana curve is relatively low (disregarding rite of replication). As long as you have lullmage mentor, coralhelm commander, and merfolk sovereign, your strategy would be to create a legion of merfolk with lullmage through counterspells the boost your legion of merfolk with coralhelm and the sovereigns and swing for the win.
