Really cold leg after operation?

My dad just had an operation on his foot. In this operation a camera was pushed down into his foot. Then some scar tissue was taken out. A few days after the operation my dad's whole leg has started to feel really cold. No pain yet just really cold. His other leg is warm and normal it is only his operation leg. Cold this be anything serious? Please awnser!, im worried :(
