Mouth guard for field hockey?

I just went to Sports Authority, and a salesman recommended a plastic mouth guard that was for players with braces. Now I don't have braces, but he said that it just gives you some extra protection...but when I opened & wore it it seems a little big and it's hard to close my mouth, but he said not to boil it. It fits okay but just seems to cover too much of my mouth, since the braces are supposed to add some thickness. Is that normal, or should I buy some normal ones? I went to a car dealership having intentions in purchasing a car. the sales agent let me look at the fees on the payment list. The salesman is going to let me have the price of the car upon what the dealer pays for it. I get no incentive $$ for the car. Then there was a charge for transportation fee which is the fee that the manufacturers charge to transport the car to the dealership. My question is this? I have been selling cars for only 4 months now and I have been getting amazing results from being straight forward with people and helping them out. I love to help people, in fact, I actually got into the car business to pay for fire school because my ultimate goal is to be a firefighter. First off, the question is a little vague. To expand I have always had the urge to travel to a Buddhist temple in the search of myself. My spiritual self that is. Lately I have been researching the expanse in consciousness and the awakening of the pineal gland. As well as various meditations, astral projections, etc. This pursuit of spiritual growth is starting to consume me, in a good way of course. Day in and day out I am looking more and more. Oral Surgeon needed to remove wisdoms?

I just recently had a dentist appointment to find out why I was having severe tooth aches in a few different parts of my mouth. One day I was eating some steak or something very hard to chew like that, and it just started happening. The pain lasted for a few days and then subsided, but anyway, long story short, the dentist told me I have 3 wisdom teeth that are I guess rotten or something, and that they need to be removed by an oral surgeon. I didn't think to ask at the time, but I kind of want a rough estimate of what such a thing could cost. Either way, I can't afford it at the moment I'm sure, but I want to know so that I can be prepared to spend a certain amount when the time comes. So yeah, thats my question. Does anyone know how much such an operation would run me? I currently have no form of insurance so it will be straight out of pocket for me. Thats all. Thanks.

Hi, I haven't used matlab too long and I haven't found anything by searching online so I thought I would ask here. I have a 4 dimensional array and also a 2 dimensional matrix. We'll call the 4 dimensional array (a,b,3,d) and the 2 dimensional matrix (3,d). What I want is to take a given element in the 2 dimensional matrix (i,j) and multiply (a,b,i,j) by that. Is there any other good way to do this other than by using a loop?

I've been trying to find this movie. It was probably came out in the late 80's to the early 90's. It's about a boy who fights with his parents and then runs away. He subsequently finds a glass wall in the middle of a glade, and finds a hole in it. On the other side he finds a whole different world, filled with different types of creatures. He encounters this evil man, who at the end holds him hostage above nothingness (eternity maybe) or a giant black expanse that never ends. My computer won't turn on. Please help?

Hi everyone. So about a month ago, I was on my computer and a random popup appeared saying something needed an update. I didn't know what it was so I kept clicking no. It kept re-appearing (like 20 times). Then, I turned it off. I tried to turn it back on but it went to this startup repair thing and checked for problems. It couldn't fix the problems. I tried turning it off, taking the battery out and putting it back in. But the same thing keeps happening. Basically when it says the repair system can't fix the problem it gives me the options of finish or cancel. Cancel restarts the computer and it goes back through the whole startup repair process where it fails. Finish just shuts the computer down. I know its some sort of virus, but I don't know how to fix it. I made the mistake last time of not saying what operating system I'm using so I'd like to add that my computer is a Windows 7 Sony VAIO. I'm don't really understand a lot about computers and their operations (my sister had to help explain some of it to me, but she still doesn't know much) so if you could try to speak as close to layman's terms as possible that'd be great. Will a TV Tuner Card work with my Celeron?

I have about an inch 1/2 of water on flat roof(asphalt)?

Most flat roofs have a drain, its normally a requirement, but I dont know that particulars of the roof in question. If this is a residence and its a small overhang roof without drainage, it will eventually leak, I dont care what its made out of. Throwing more stuff on top of it isn't going to make any difference, in fact it may make it worse. If its exposed now and the water evaporates quickly then its not as big a worry, if not then it should be resurfaced.

I try to open itunes but an error message saying "you dont have enough access privilages for this operation"- I dont know why it did that. I just downloaded it off itunes.com. My dad just had an operation on his foot. In this operation a camera was pushed down into his foot. Then some scar tissue was taken out. Why am I so tired after a minor operation?

I had a tummy tuck with double hernia and muscle repair 11 months ago. I unfortunately had a bad bleed which resulted in me being rushed back to theatre for an emergency operation to fix it. As my surgeon had to go in quickly it left me with lumps on both ends of my scar. It took me 5 months to feel normal again, even the slightest thing made me tired for ages. I went back to my surgeon 4 days ago and under local he corrected the lumps and the incision was extended by about 2 inches either side.. As the local wore off the incisions became quite painful and I've become totally exhausted ever since. I feel tired all day and although I'm in pain from the surgery its obviously nowhere near as bad as last time and I didn't even have a general. Is it normal to feel this tired after something quite minor?

Why do I pass out after seeing blood?

Okay well yesterday I was at the doctors office with my girlfriend because her toenail got almost completely ripped off. What is DRM and why is it an important feature?

I'm thinking of upgrading to Windows 7 but the salesman at a local electronics store confused me as he told me about the different editions and said that I NEED to upgrade from Windows XP because XP lacks DRM and according to him, my computer will be unable to play DVDs, Blu-Ray Discs, and any high definition movies. I asked a couple of friends about DRM and they were against it (one even discontinued using Windows and uses only Linux because he says Apple also has DRM). Their claims is that it is basically spyware that will be used by the RIAA, MPAA and others to keep tabs on your movies, songs, and other digital media which concerned me since I don't want anyone collecting information from my computer without my permission and already dislike the Windows Genuine (whatever it's called) that makes sure we have a legitimate copy of windows and one time incorrectly identified my legal copy of Windows XP as a pirated copy. What happens if DRM misidentifies a song, movie, or other content you legally own as pirated copies? Will I be able to backup songs, movies, and digital content without it flagging machine. Is what my friends explain about DRM accurate? They also claim that DRM ruins the playback of songs and movies. I'm lost, what is DRM and why is it such a great feature of Windows 7 (along with Windows Vista and Apple computers)? Why is Linux refusing to embrace this feature if their users won't be able to play CD's, DVD's, Blu-Ray Discs, etc? Liver disease.....Help me please?

My mum has been taken ill due to vomiting blood...she has been an alcoholic for 14 years and has been in a pretty bad way (not suprising) i know that its because her liver doesn't function properly so therefore that blood backs up and goes any where that it should so its gone through the varices which has now burst......We have been told that they may have to operate to bypass the blood else where. I'm the oldest child of a younger brother who is 15, my brother was born with an extremely rare condition that ended up with having 21 operations. My mom was frequently at the hospital with him during my childhood, I don't think we ever got to fully bond...I'm 17 now, girl and entering my senior year this upcoming fall..however my mom isn't letting me grow up, at all. Hip surgery. I have a 2 inch scar that's finally mostly healed. Except something is sticking out at one end. It looks like string. Lots of fibers making it up. I attempted to pull it out but it's really stuck. The suture area is hard and raised. Operation was over 5 weeks ago. I'm guessing that is something that isn't going to dissolve on its own. Honestly no, this reading seems to go into too much detail and starts way too soon if I were editing this I would start at the beginning of the third paragraph where the mother says “Andrew McCoy, you quit looking at the sun unless you want to go blind!" all the information the reader requires is in the following paragraphs. You should try to write more in the present tense as this will draw in the reader and try not to so fervently describe the scene as this will allow the reader the option to imagine their own scenery and in a small way make the story their own which readers tend to enjoy. You should also have more interactions between the characters as this helps to add dept to each of the characters and allows the reader to relate better to them in a way that recalling thoughts might not be able to do. One last note you may want to consider writing this as a first person novel as it will help to draw the reader into the story much fast than the perspective that is given now. As a side note this really seems to have great potential I suppose I might be a bit overly critical as I have worked with a few publisher in the past and know what they like, believe me you would be surprised at some of the first drafts of books that later ended up on the New York best seller list so keep on writing and you never know you might be the next Joyce Carol Oates.

2004 Ford Focus Timing Belt?

Hello everyone! I have a 2004 Ford Focus ZX3 with the 2.0 DOHC engine. I just changed the timing belt and followed the manual to the letter. I bought a Goodyear Gatorback timing belt because the salesman at the car part store said it was a good brand. Now that it's done, the belt seems to want to ride on the edge of the cam gears and its making a "ticking" noise (almost like a valve tap) coming from the belt. I believe the tension is correct. To operate or not to operate?

Just got my cat X-rayed today. He has been vomitting non-stop every single time he eat, and it is not because he eats too fast or have heavy meal. Even one tiny piece of dry nibblets could make him puke like there's no tomorrow. Based on the x-ray results, there is a foreign matter in his tummy. Now the vet hasn't confirmed it yet, but there might be an option to operate, or let my cat to eventually vomit or pass motion the matter out. Operation would be quick, but my cat has been under too much stress, I am unsure whether this is the best option. Any suggestions?

You would be better off to buy the good stuff from a Carrier Dealer rather than Sears. The salesman should have told you that the Infinity control requires a new Infintiy furnace and will likely not work well (and certainly not get the desired efficiency) with your older furnace. When properly matched, the thermostat serves as the microprocessor unit that polls the connected loads and configures itself just as a plug and play component does on newer computer systems. I would be really hesitant to buy a system like this from Sears but you will love it if you get it installed by someone who knows what he/she is doing.

I loved it. Just keep in mind line equivalence- the notion that every line delivered should have as much weight as each other. some of the lines like 'for allowing' do not have as much value as 'as a blush blooms' for instance. Perhaps some of your lines did not need to be so short, infact you could use the lines as a technique to built up the tension in your poem which is in itself a tense poem with an underlying anxious feel. He is just trying to make a living!! He doesn't get paid unless he makes a sale and he just wants to be available when you are. Rather than just stringing him along, make a definite appointment to meet with him and he will stop pestering you.

Salesmen are notorious for getting you to sign contracts for some glossily promoted product but then saying don't worry about the small print, its just standard legal stuff, then when you have a problem they claim well you signed the form. honestly I have other oppinions since I used to play pro. my oppinion will always be to have more spells since I am a kind of magic person, for lands u have too many mountains for creatures you should only need 2 stigma lashers and 3 roil elementals so you should add more creatures spells u need only 3 mana leaks and 3 whiplash traps since ur creature set isn't specifically set for those spells for ur set use some mre lightining bolts since u have most of everytging covered wit this deck from what I said it should cost a lot less I would say more except it would be expensive

I cant bend my knee even after 2 operations.?

I fell from scooty on 23rd of feb and i had an operation on 25th feb. My 3 legaments were repaired and 4 screws were placed for fractured bone. I had physiotherapy continuously for 1 month but still i could not bend my knee. I got hospitalized again n March 30th and doctor did mobilization under general anesthesia. For around 1 week i could bend my knee till 120 degree but slowly slowly again i reached to 50 degree. I took second opinion and was suggested to change physiotherapist, which i did. After 1 month i could able to walk on my leg without support and knee pad but still can not bend my knee. I can bend it till 60 to 70 degree. Doctor advised me for another surgery (Orthroscopy i guess) he will clear all scar (I dont know technical term) which normally forms after knee operation due to which knee bending becomes difficult. I actually dont want to go for an operation. Right now i am searching for another option. Please suggest me on this. If you have any option please suggest with reference. I have heard about panchakarma but dont know its centers in Mumbai and that too i dont know which centers are specialist in my case. It is almost 4 months sine i fell and i am litterally frustrated. Please advise.

Can anyone explain to me why the guests at a wedding would be asked to wait for the bride and groom to finish all their pictures, freshen up and appear at the reception before being served ANYTHING to eat or drink or even allowed to serve themselves from the buffet or bar? I have always thought that people who are invited to a wedding were the GUESTS and that a reception was mainly for their refreshment and continued celebration with the happy couple. Now it seems that people are invited only to be the audience to the MR & MRS SMITH SHOW with little or no consideration shown to those who attend. I was recently chastized by a caterer for trying to get a bottle of water off the buffet table for the groom's 74 yr old grandmother after she had trekked down two flights of stairs and across a wide expanse of sand to sit through a 45 minute ceremony in the wind and salt spray only to make the return trek, alone as everyone else was having their picture made, because she needed a drink of water. The table attendant just pointed to a sign (yes, a little plastic sign on the table) that said 'Please wait for the bride and groom' and shooed her away like a child when she tried herself. Being made of sterner stuff, I went back over and got one for her only to have the head food slinger come out from behind the table and actually try to grab it OUT OF MY HAND all the while whining 'didn't you see the sign?' Why would ANYONE want their GUESTS to be treated in this manner? When I spoke to the bride's mother she just said, 'that's the way they did it at my other daughter's wedding last year. I thought it was a new custom.' Well, is it?
