Assess a beginner's Magic: The Gathering deck?

Good start, try to get multiples of cards that are tailored to your playing style, with this deck i'd recommend cards that produce mana other than lands. Try Llanowar Elves x4 (common) and Elvish Archdruid x2 (rare). Try adding in more direct damage cards like Lightning bolt, also try a few more Aura cards. I'd recommend Claws of the Valakut or annother green aura.
