Please help! Can someone with hypertension be anesthetized during a surgery?!?

When are you people going to smarten up and ask a doctor these kinds of questions? i have hypertension and i have had the surgery and was anesthetized. no pain afterwards to speak of. but everyone is different you know. next time you have a medical question, ask your Dr. duh!!!!
